Each sticker you carry runs its own monthly cycle from the day it starts, and at the end of each cycle the payment for that sticker goes out through Stripe, the same payment platform that pays Uber and DoorDash workers. So if you install a sticker on the 12th, that sticker pays around the 12th of every month it keeps running. Carry more than one sticker and each one pays on its own schedule, which in practice means money landing more than once a month.

The monthly cycle, step by step

A sticker's clock starts when it's verified — you've installed it on the assigned door and submitted a photo showing it's on right. From there the month runs, you drive like you normally do, and you submit a quick weekly odometer photo so your mileage gets approved. When the cycle closes, Lunar tallies that sticker's base pay plus any bonuses you earned and sends the payout through Stripe. There's no invoice to file and no hours to log — the verification photos are the whole paper trail.

How much arrives each cycle

The base is $83.50 per sticker per month. Incentives stack on top of that — they add rather than compound: +5% for overnight parking visibility, +5% for keeping the car's condition verified, and +10% for driving past the 600-mile (about 900 km) monthly reference. Earn all three and a single sticker pays $100.20 a month. A four-door car carrying a full set typically lands between $334 and $400 a month, and the earnings estimator shows your own range before you ever commit to anything.

What can delay a payout

• Missing odometer photos — mileage that isn't verified can't be approved, and only approved miles count toward the cycle.
• A sticker photo that's overdue — Lunar re-verifies installs roughly twice a month, and an unverified sticker pauses its own payout, not your other stickers.
• Stripe onboarding that isn't finished — your bank details and tax info live with Stripe, and the first payout can't leave until that one-time setup is done.
• A campaign ending mid-cycle — if a business's phase ends, that sticker's final payment covers the completed portion, and the spot refills from the paying pool.

None of these cost you money you've already earned — they hold the payment until the missing piece is in. The fastest-paid drivers are simply the ones who treat the weekly odometer photo like brushing their teeth.
