Stickr, StickerRide and Mobilads: what happened to the car sticker apps
Three apps that paid drivers for car stickers or ads no longer have working sites. What we found on November 2, 2026, and how to judge a sticker app before you join.

On November 2, 2026, Stickr's site didn't load, StickerRide's domain redirected to an unrelated blog, and Mobilads' domain was listed for sale. None has a working driver sign-up. If an article sent you to one of them, it's out of date. Lunar also pays drivers to carry stickers, and publishes this page.
Stickr
Stickr paid drivers in gift cards to carry a decal they applied themselves. FinanceBuzz, in July 2025, reported that drivers paid $19 up front for the decal and had to send a photo of it each month to get paid. Mel Magazine reported a sign-up fee and a monthly membership. Its Better Business Bureau rating is F, and it isn't accredited. Its site, stickr.co, didn't load when we checked.
StickerRide
StickerRide paid drivers to carry stickers and tracked their driving in an app. FinanceBuzz already advised against it, and stickerride.com now redirects to a bike-tour blog that has nothing to do with it.
Mobilads
Mobilads paid drivers for car ads and was still on The Rideshare Guy's list in March 2024. Its domain, mobilads.com, now goes to a page offering it for sale.
How to judge a sticker app before you join
- It shouldn't charge you. A real program pays you; it doesn't sell you the sticker or a membership.
- It should say how you're paid (money, not points that can vanish) and when.
- It should never mail you a check to deposit and forward. The FTC calls that a scam every time.
- Its site and app should be current: a working sign-up, a recent app update, a real support contact.
